FAMILY RELATIONS
Turkish people consider family as a
cornerstone of society. Family relations
are very important to Turkish people.
They respect their elders and love
their youngers. Parents support their
children financially until they get
married. Children take care of the
elders when they get sick or need help.
Sometimes three generations can live
together. It is important for Turkish
people to support family members
in all aspects. In contrast to many
countries, Turkish parents support
their children financially whenever
they need help. To sum up, family
relations are very tight and mutual
respect is also essential in Turkish
families.
