              6  a.  Work in pairs. Make a similar dialogue to buy a plane ticket to a foreign country as in
                     the example. Then act it out.

                 Student A  :  You are the passenger. Answer the travel agent’s questions to buy a ticket.
                 Student B :  You are the travel agent. Ask the passenger the name, the destination, the date
                             and give the price.

                   A  :  Good morning. I’d like to buy a ticket to (your destination), please.
                   B :  Sure. What is your name, please?
                   A  :  My name is (your name & surname).
                   B :  OK. Mr./Ms. (the passenger’s surname). Which date would you like to travel?
                   A  :  (the travel date).
                   B :  OK. Let me check. One-way or round trip?
                   A  :  (One-way / Round) please. How much is the ticket?
                   B :  From (your city) to (destination), (one-way / round) trip, (economy / business) class...
                       It’s (the price). You are leaving on (day & time) and arriving (day & time). Here is your
                       ticket.
                   A  :  OK. Thank you. Goodbye.


                 b.  Now, you are at the airport to f y. Make a new dialogue to plan the details of your f ight.

                 Student A  :  You are the passenger. Answer the check-in off cer’s questions to choose your
                             seat, get your boarding pass, leave your baggage, and f nd your gate.
                 Student B :  You are the check-in off cer. Welcome the passenger; ask for the passport; ask
                             if he/she wants a window/aisle seat; ask if he/she has any baggage; give the
                             boarding pass and tell the gate number; say goodbye.
