PREFACE

Vocabulary and reading comprehension are paramount for success in
English exams. A strong vocabulary not only allows students to express

Furthermore, exposure to diverse vocabulary through reading enhances

With the aforementioned points in mind, we are delighted to present
this comprehensive reading book with a focus on vocabulary, designed
specifically for students preparing for the university entrance exam.

The book comprises vocabulary exercises and multiple-choice questions

The book is organised into eight distinct themes consisting of four modules,

irrelevant sentence question in the second and fourth modules. In addition
to the engaging content within each theme, this book also includes
end-of-theme tests, which encompass forty multiple-choice questions
intricately tied to the topic and designed to reinforce comprehension skills
and revisit the vocabulary acquired within the respective modules. The
book concludes with a target vocabulary list, allowing students to easily
access and review key lexical items. Answer keys are also provided to help
students assess their progress and ensure accuracy in their responses.
