Tomasz and Diego: Different Routines, Great Friends
Tomasz is from Poland, and Diego’s from Peru. They are both students at a high school in Spain. They live in the same
dorm and are best friends, but their daily routines are very different!

Tomasz wakes up bright and early at 5:00 a.m. He makes his bed, takes a shower, and eats yellow cheese and boiled
eggs for breakfast. Then, he likes hitting the books before school. He says, “I like to study in the morning because I can
learn by heart better when it’s quiet.”

Diego, however, wakes up at 9:00 a.m. He starts his day with music and dancing. He has a light breakfast with fruit and
coffee. He loves learning poems. “I learn by heart when I read them aloud,” he says. He goes to class and studies in the
evening. “At night, I can focus better,” says Diego. He studies until midnight. Then he adds, “I call it a day!”

They accept their differences, and they respect each other’s habits. Their friendship is full of fun, learning, and culture!
