B Read the text and answer the following questions.
SHOPPING LIKE A PRO!
Can you be one of those who rush into the store and buy something you like while walking on the street? Or are you
one of those people who say, "now is neither the time nor the place for this", and move on? Yes, which group do you
think you are closer to?
Everyone loves shopping. All we need to buy is one thing, but we buy the whole rack! If you have trouble staying
within your budget when you go shopping, this list will help you figure out what causes you to spend more money
or shop more than you need to.
Before you start shopping, try these rules;
Buy what you need but not what you want. To save time and money,
always write down what you need. Make a plan before you go
shopping, no matter what you're going to buy. For gifts, find out
who you're buying for, check out how much you want to spend, and
come up with a few gift ideas that you can buy in your price range.
Figure out how much to spend. Set a budget for yourself and get rid
of anything that goes over it. By reading many reviews, you'll get a
sense of prices and which brands are the best. It's essential to keep
in mind that not every review is honest. According to a study on reviews, researchers have found that 30% of them
were fake. You should also check the return policy to avoid getting stuck with a bad thing.
Don't buy it just because it's cheap. Isn't it easy to fall for a huge discount? You should take advantage of big
discounts, but only if that piece is something that you really need to add to your wardrobe. Never buy something
because it's on sale. As long as you don't wear the thing, it is a waste of money.
Do clothes swap with your friends. It's a good idea to swap clothes with your friends to keep your wardrobe fresh.
Your "One in, One out" rule works by getting rid of something you haven't worn in months and trading it for
something your friend doesn't like (but you have always had an eye on). Trading clothes is a great way to have a new
wardrobe without spending any money or damaging the environment.
