Yakın ve uzak zamandan söz edilirken kullanılır.

“That of” yapısı daha önce bahsedilmiş tek bir nesnenin yerine kullanılırken “those of” yapısı daha önce
bahsedilmiş birden fazla nesnenin yerine kullanılır.
▪ Teenagers are inclined to compare their physical appearances to those of celebrities.

Bu zamirler, olumlu cümlelerde kullanılır; ancak olumsuz anlam içerirler.

Bu zamirlerin kullanıldığı cümlelerde, sonrasında başka bir zamir kullanılacaksa “any” ile başlayan zamirler
kullanılmalıdır.
