Read the passage and do the exercises below.

The world is indeed changing at any moment. Global warming is increasing, and the climate is changing. There are many
births and deaths every second. Technology is developing and researchers are going on making inventions.

Considering those changes, in a hundred years, maybe we will have
smart and emotionally engaged robotic servants, or scientists will

find out some ways to increase longevity to be immortal, or we will
have the technology to be able to control the weather when we need

to, or there will be nanorobots in our body to fix our cells and record

our memories, or we will have digital homes assembling before we
come home and disassembling after we leave home so that the space

can be used for another purpose, or people will communicate each
other through telepathy. These are all predictions for the future,

but what about the rest? In other words, what will not change in a

hundred years? One of the things that technology and the modern
world cannot restore is “love”, which is a physiologic process with no

                                                      significant connection.

It is an emotional response that has accomplished an evolutionary
purpose and has helped us survive and continue our existence.

Besides, we shouldn’t forget the things that make us human such

as our basic needs for closeness, free will, and competence. There
will be more options about how we express those needs, but their

intensity, their universality will always go on to exist. Identity and
culture will also be still important because we, as human beings,

need each other in all aspects of our lives, and this case won't change

in future, either. Consequently, places, locations, and community will
maintain their importance. Another thing is the food requirement

of our nature as humans. We will continue to need something to
survive, and eating is one of the main pleasures of humans. Whether

we will eat artificial food in the future, or cook our own food just

like today, our having pleasure from feeding won’t change in the
         future, either.
