taking your notes below after you have a consensus.
- Use the following expressions to give opinions and disagree with your opponent’s ideas.

Debate Topics
1 Do you think popular award shows affect or influence the types of music that people listen to?
2 Do you think international music influences domestic and popular artists’ creation of songs?
3 Do you believe music, in particular, classical music, has an effect on a student’s ability to learn and in
overall professional success?
