The Milwaukee Native American Indian Festival
North America’s largest American Indian festival is celebrated at Milwaukee’s lakefront Henry Maier Festival
Park for three days in September every year. Thousands gather in Milwaukee, USA, to celebrate the Indian
culture. The preparations take months. Dance teams from all over the country practice to compete in the tribal
Pow Wow dance contest. Indian craftsmen work to produce the many traditional items on display. Then, in the
week before the festival, the stalls are put up and the food is prepared so that everything will be ready for the
big day. During this three-day event, contemporary American Indian entertainers combine with traditional arts,
crafts and cuisine reflecting the diversity and richness of North American Indian cultures.
Jeonju Bibimbap Festival
The festival is held for 4 days in Jeonju, South Korea in October every year. Thousands of people come

April in the USA in honor of his environmental consciousness movement. Activities include planting trees and
local trash cleanups. Earth Day and Arbor Day both come to emphasize the end goal of improving our planet
and celebrate hope for the future.
