TIME TO ACT GREEN
ERASMUS+ KA210 SCHOOL EDUCATION PROJECT
Hilmi Özcan Anatolian High School from Denizli, Türkiye, participates in the Erasmus+ KA210
project “Time to Act Green” (2023–2025) alongside schools from Spain, Italy, and Croatia. The
project aims to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and inspire students to
become responsible global citizens who protect nature and value intercultural cooperation.
Through collaborative learning and student mobilities, participants enhance their environmental
knowledge, language proficiency, digital competence, and teamwork skills.

Project Activities
Students have taken part in various hands-on and creative initiatives, including establishing a recycling garden and an organic garden,
producing compost fertiliser, and organising recycled art and upcycling workshops. They also implemented waste and energy management
actions, such as placing recycling bins and designing posters about the 5Rs. Expert training sessions deepened their understanding of
environmental issues. During international mobilities, students shared best practices and strengthened intercultural bonds.
