Preface

Dear Colleagues and Students,

This book is designed as a supplementary material that takes students of preparatory classes from
A1/A2 (elementary/pre-intermediate) level to B1 (intermediate) level. It is divided into 20 themes and
each theme contains activities which are integrated with all basic and micro skills. The activities in the

book will provide students with further practice of linguistic elements that have been learnt at school. It
aims to give students an opportunity to consolidate what they have learnt and improve their linguistic
skills, helping students become fluent and accurate communicators in English.

In addition to the information about grammar in the Structure parts, you will find a functional and
skill-based organisation of themes integrating the other aspects of language with sections such as

Vocabulary, Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Apart from these, you will be able to learn
about culture with the Culture Corner section and with a puzzle related to the theme on the Fun Page,
you will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge while having fun. You will finally revise

the subject with the Multiple Choice section in which you will be able to get instant feedback on the
questions by watching their videos explaining the solutions via QR codes and links.
