PREFACE

Success in the YDT requires not only a solid understanding of grammar and vocabulary but also
the ability to apply that knowledge in a variety of contexts. Furthermore, practising different types of
questions is crucial for developing the skills needed to excel in the exam. Skills Question Bank for YDT
11 is designed to provide 11 -grade students with the comprehensive practice necessary to master
th
the question types they will encounter in the YDT.

This book is divided into eight themes that align with the lexicon and structure of Vocabulary for
YDT 11, and it is also compatible with the grammar structures of Grammar for YDT 11, maintaining
consistency in learning and application. In each theme, there are nine distinct question types:
cloze tests, sentence completion, paragraph comprehension, dialogue completion, restatement,
situational responses, paragraph completion, translation, and irrelevant sentence identification.
Grammar and vocabulary questions are not separately included as question types in the book since
they are thoroughly covered in the aforementioned two books. Each question type in this book
addresses specific skills and cognitive abilities, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the
diverse challenges of the exam.
