          This activity enables students to talk about landmarks and monuments. It also encourages students to improve their
          listening, speaking and reading skills.


          Materials and Preparation

          Get enough copies of the worksheet on pages 132-133 for the pairs.


          Procedure

          1     Divide the students into pairs.
          2   Hand out the copies for the pairs. One student will take paper A and the other will take paper B in the pair.
          3   Tell students that paper A’s will read the questions to his/her pair and expect his/her pair to choose the correct option
             to complete the sentence. ( Answers are written at the bottom of the paper handed out for the students)
          4   When all the sentences are completed then paper B’s will do the same for paper A’s.
          5   The one who gives the most correct answer wins the game in the pair.
          6   Ask students if they have anything to share about these landmarks and monuments from Turkey. Let them talk about
             the things they’ve experienced if there are any.





              7  Catch the Answers


          This activity enables students to ask for and give more detailed information about monuments and landmarks. It also
          encourages students to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.



          Materials and Preparation

          Get enough copies of the worksheet on page 134 for the pairs.



          Procedure

          1   Divide the students into pairs.
          2   Hand out a copy for each pair.
          3   Tell students that they are going to match the answers with the questions. Let the pairs ask and get the correct
             answers for the questions.
          4   Then ask them to write two short paragraphs using the information given.
          5   Pairs stick their writings on the board.
          6   They read each other’s paragraphs and choose the best one.
