SITUATION QUESTIONS

Verilen durumu okurken genellikle sona doğru belirtilen to + verb yapılarına dikkat edilmelidir.
"-mek, -mak için" anlamına gelen bu ifade sizden söylemeniz beklenen cümlenin ne amaçla
söyleneceğini belirttiği için oldukça önemlidir.

♦ (Örnek Soru / 2024 YDT / Soru 57): One of your friends has invited you to do yoga, but none of you has any knowledge
about how to practise yoga. Although she's very enthusiastic about it, you're scared of wasting your time with ineffective
exercises or even hurting yourself. So, you come up with a solution not to frustrate her and say: ----
Cevap: I think it’d be the best for us to enrol in a yoga class where we can get detailed guidance.

Durum sorularında kullanılan sıfatlar (adjectives) konuşmacının nasıl hissettiği konusunda önemli
ipuçları içerir. Soru kökündeki bu kelimelere dikkat edilmelidir.
