4.3 DIET AND EXERCISE

                                A Balanced Approach to Health

Many people advocate restrictive diets as a means of losing weight and improving health. However, such dietary
regimens can actually prove detrimental to your general well-being. When you adhere to a starvation diet like
these, you may become deficient in essential nutrients needed by your body to function smoothly. Adopting
a balanced diet that includes a diverse array of foods in moderation is important to ensure you get all of the
vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients required. This approach can help boost your immunity and support your
overall health. Notwithstanding, even when you are having a healthy diet, it is crucial to see to it that you are
able to digest your food properly. Consistently experiencing issues with digesting may indicate an underlying
condition. It may be necessary to diagnose any such condition that could be causing problems. In addition, it is
of the utmost importance to make sure that you sleep sufficiently and efficiently, exercise enough, and practise
other forms of self-care like stress management techniques and mindfulness to support your overall health and
well-being. A range of health issues stem from not taking care of your body, which is why you must give your
health priority. If you happen to suffer from an illness, you should take the time needed to get over it fully instead
of pushing yourself too hard and prolonging recovery. To achieve optimal health, taking good care of yourself is
not an option but a necessity.
